I put a bunch of pictures from a recent trip on photobucket for family & friends and figured a few would be of interest to some folks here.

We stumbled on a C-47 in mid-coast California that was being started for the first time in a while. I hadn't heard one of these start up in years.

A very exotic little item that I saw in Moab - can't quite place it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

And C-47's were used as "spray birds" here a few years back when we were "plagued" by MedFlies... The sound ~is~ distinct. Those birds have been in service at some point onna planet CONTINUOUSLY 'till this day since Mr. Douglass loosed the first one.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif Nice use of corrugated metal on the wall.
