Tri carb manifold - broken

Country flag
Offline
Try British Miles on the east coast. They dismantle and rebuild British cars. I got a replacement exhaust manifold from them when no one else had it. They are completely cleaned and painted. Looked like new with new studs and all. They were very fast too. They took my old ones and my intake manifold and painted them as well and assembled the whole thing. Ready to mount. No hassel. ($$$)Try their web sight at www.britishmiles.com I think.

One of my tri carb manifolds has a broken ear where the exaust pipe bolts on and all four studs are broken or stripped. Has anyone found a place that can repair these?

Also, is the tri carb engine the same as other (59-62)3000 engine? I thought I read somewhere once that the valve train was somewhat different? I never see any difference in the parts books?
THanks Scott

Thanks for the info. I will try them. Scott

I found a Co in Fredricksburg Va that has an ad in Hemmings that says they restore manifolds. I will let you know what they say when they see mine. They will put on new studs and rebuild the broken part by welding on a new piece. They say they do this all the time.
