Is the stock cam grind the best for street use, or is there a better grind the gives some improvement at all rpm's? Elgin camshafts seems like a good source, but looking for feedback

It really depends on what your goal is, good street driver, gas milage, performance, etc. Elgin is a great source, but to get any real benefit you need to have your head flow tested first. Fellow racer Richard Mayer and I use Oregon Cam in Vancouver, WA https://calyxmanifold.com/products/products.htm for are re-grind work. My current race cam is pretty mild and could easily be used on the street. Ooop............... I guess I do use it on the street already.
