Transporting a BN4 from Md to Fl

I ship a dozen or more cars a year, and have been using the same hauler for about five (5) years now__ZERO INCIDENTS. Call Deb or Jessica for a quote; you can even tell them you know me (won't be any cheaper, but possibly even more attentive service): 419 490 4858

Loading up the Healey and one of my Bimmers in Ohio:

And them arriving in Florida a couple of days later (Healey's deck is raised to get the black car out):

The Tampa Bay Austin-Healey Club holds an XLNT All British car show the last Saturday in October (mine took 1st Place in the 100/6 category last year__didn't place at all a couple years ago; popular vote, so even cars of less than original spec/concours grade stand an even chance). Hope to see you there in 2015!

I'm located just outside of Parrish, near Sarasota/Bradenton (40 minutes south of the Tampa airport) if you're up for a drive. Last year, the club had a drive over to The Villages, so one way or another, you need to get hooked up with them!

Welcome to Florida, and leave your snow shovel behind!

Sarasota is not far at all! We actually hope to be able to drive to the gulf often in the Healeys. That's one of the things we've been talking about, having to learn a whole new system of back roads and evening trips in the cars. The surprising thing is that even though we've owned the two cars for almost forty years, we've only ever joined one car club, our local clustered spires British car club (clusteredspiresbcc.com). However, even though we've only been involved with them for four years, it's been a great experience, so we might just take a look at the Tampa area club, and any others in the area.

Well, you have an open invitation, once you get here and get settled. My E-mail address is in my signature pic, when you're ready for the address and details.

You're pretty close to Sebring and there are three races there this year: Late February (SVRA), and March and December (HSR). I'll be racing the Elva SR there at the SVRA event the last weekend of February and if you attend please come by and say hello.

Is there a cost to spectate/pit pass at the SVRA races?

I'm one (1) hour west, straight down Hwy 64 from the Sebring Track__keep that in mind, if you need any grand-scale repairs done (full service shop, with MIG/TIG welders, mills and lathes, hydraulic one-shot tube bender, bead-roller, etc...).

Randy--

Thanks for the generous offer and I only hope I will not need to take advantage of it. I will be happy to put you on my crew list and that will get you--and if you like a guest--in for free for the weekend. I'll send you a PM with my cellphone and email.

.... Although, having come this far, I'm really leaning to driving the BN4 down, and using the auto train for the bugeye. I could cross two things off my "want to do" list. The auto train, and a road trip down highway 17 along the coast in the Healey. Funny how things work out sometimes. I'm thinking day one to Virginia Beach, stop day two in Charleston and visit a good friend who owns an art gallery/school there, and take it into Florida on day three...maybe add an extra day if this is too ambitious. That's what I really want to do!
I think you have your answer.

Racer's luck dicrates that if something is available to you, you won't need it ;)

Thanks for the offer (I *now* see that there's a PM waiting for me) and I'll look forward to seeing you then!

Randy--

If you will be bringing someone I will need their name to put on the crew list.

BTW I will be driving the Elva sports racer, a picture of which appears on my avatar. It is red with white stripe, #82.
