Transmission identification

I have a spare 4 spd transmission that I think is for my 1500. I got two when I purchased the disassembled midget 75.

The transmission I put into the midget was the one where the ID number was present and it looked to be in better condition. The other one I set aside just in case. Well the one I placed in the car is grinding when I shift into 3rd and I want to keep driving while I send out the spare to be looked at and if needed rebuilt. Issue is "Is it the correct transmission for a 75 midget?"

The spare transmission however doesn't have ID numbers were they state they should be located. The spare looks exactly like the one installed except for this. It does have the following numbers on the side casing:
24C5 2261553
5

Is there a way to determine if this transmission is for the 1500 midget with just these numbers? I am including web link to the images of the transmission. Spare transmission Images
