When I dismantled my trafficator I discovered that the piece that fits in the horn button that makes contact with the horn terminals was missing. Does anyone know of a source for this part. Suggestions on fabricating this piece?

I just wanted to say how useful this information is and to thankyou for your time in making the resource available to everyone. Also to point out that the pics and the article are for an adjustable steering wheel setup. for the non-adjustable, the stator tube is full length from the steering box to the back of the trafficator. It all comes out in one piece once you disconnect the wiring under the hood and loosen the olive at the bottom of the steering box. I did this job recently on my BN2 and can report that on the nonadjustable setup, it is much easier to thread the new wire loom throught the stator tube on the bench. Then tape up the wire ends and thread the hole thing down through the hollow steering column. The wire ends go through the grease in the steering box doing it this way, so it is important to tape up the wires throroughly.
