Hey Phil,
Love the way that 8 sounds. I have not made it down to any autocrosses this year in Eugene. It's been all I can do to make the ones in Salem. That lot looks like a great site. You should come up for ours next Sunday. Willamette Motor Club I've had the only LBC out all year and I'm lonely.
Thanks for sharing that.It must be nice to run with
all that room.I've got to make it up there someday.I used
run at White City (near Medford),but it's been awhile.
Eric,
I was just stating to wonder where you've been - I
thought about you when I went & looked at that '79 Spitfire
the other day.
The next event on September 18/19 is also being held at the Guaranty RV lot in Coburg (right next to I5). A nice venue with lots of room for the course. Last event a couple of "Lotus 7" look a likes competed, and a lotus elise. A repro cobra was there but didn't compete. I'll be there again -- I already have the weekend off.
Phil,
I'll try to make it but I might be visiting my dad in Kennewick that weekend. We tried to get that lot for our event this month but they wouldn't let us use it. We really have a hard time finding decent sites. We use McKay HS which has a lot of concrete or the state fairgrounds which is a nice big space but a lot of people don't like it because it's uneven and rough.
Hey Doug,
I saw your post about that Spitty, I've got to reduce my fleet of busted LBCs before I think about getting any more.
Hey Don, I'll be there slaloming on Saturday. I plan to take a truckload of parts up on Sunday for the swap meet. Gresham is a lot closer to PIR than Eugene Phil.
