The Triumph Register of America is holding its annual National Meet in Charles Town, West Virginia this year. The back roads in the area are curvy, scenic, and hilly. The area is full of history and natural beauty.
Mason-Dixon TRA Center is the host. We have lots of fun driving events planned for you. We will lap Summit Point Motorsports Park, tour the great back roads, and visit National Parks. You can compete for cash prizes in the Funkhana and Gimmick Rallye.
The host hotel, The Inn at Charles Town, is on the grounds of Charles Town Races and Slots, and thoroughbred racing will be taking place every night just outside the hotel. The Meet rate for a standard room is $125 plus tax. Suites are available for extra cost, but are discounted for meet attendees. 304 885-5800
You won't go hungry. We will have a real pig roast on Wednesday night and a banquet on Saturday night. The banquet room overlooks the horse race track. A hot breakfast buffet is included in the room charge.
You can enter your car in a car show, too, if you like. There are concours d'elegance and participant's choice classes for TR2-3-4-4A and a participant's choice class for other Triumph cars. TRA focusses on TR2-3-4-4A, but any Triumph, or any LBC for that matter, is welcome.
The registration form should be up on the TRA website, triumphregister.com, soon.
This should be a good one. Hope to see some BCFers there.
