Wedge TR8 Radio and Power Antenna

Just curiuous, I am getting ready to put in a new power antenna on my 8, the original went bad years ago, and it was replaced with the manual type. While I am having this done, I might replace the radio head as well. Anyhting specific I should tell the radio guys when hooking these 2 items up? Like certain wires they should use, or NOT use? I know good old LUCAS is VERY picky!

Thanks!

Rod

Most new radios will have a power lead for the antenna and your installers should be able to hook it up to the new antenna via the existing wire. Being that it's Lucas, it'll probably arc & spark no matter how you hook it up. Good luck.

"Ark & Spark" - Great name for an English pub, don't you think? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Could be one with an LBC theme...

The "Ark & Spark" could have lighting and refrigeration by Lucas and we could all drink warm beer in the dark.

But the beer kegs in the basement and we can have proper cellar temperature beer. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
