Wedge tr8 radiator swap

Finally got the radiator out, don't know how, but i did.
Only lost 2 nuts, for the coil, and found 1 bolt that i don't
know where it is from. The fan assembly pretty much stayed in place, but i found that 1 of the white plugs on the right side of the fan set up has a brunt wire on both the male and female side. I wonder if that is why TPO has a fan switch mounted under the dash. There was no plug wire going to the temp sensor on the top left side.
The radiator looks good, can't even tell where it is leaking,
i'll try and get it pressure checked tomorrow.
Any thoughts on what else i should take care of while the stuff is disconnected?

Heavy, isn't it. The fan wiring is very complicated. It has two different circuits with switches and relays. Last quote I got for a recore was around $300. Add that all up, and it's easy to see why so many TR8 owners opt for total replacement with an aftermarket fan. Now that the rad is out, check the front seal on the motor, and any other engine stuff that can only be serviced when the radiator is out. Look for rust up under the nose, and check out the power steering hoses. Inspect the subframe bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, steering rack boots.

Have you put lighter aftmkt fans in. We have them at work, I could get a couple
there cheap, but i also don't want to mess with sucess to much, you know?
If i go aftmkt, is there any pitfall i should look out for?
Thanks Tom

Not sure if this should be here or the humor section.

What do you get when you try and install a radiator core support bracket that has the old bushing's in it, with a new radiator that has bushing's on it?

A chance to listen to some good music while you figure out why it is not going back together. :wall:
Not sure if the top mounting pins are in the right location either, next up, trying to remember the wire's to coil hook up.
