Hello all, I am a TR8 owner who has just returned from Iraq. My 8 has been neglected for the 2 years and I am slowly bringing her back in shape. I auto cross her quite a bit before I left (not well) and am looking into trying to road course racing a TR7 in the near future.

Yes, indeed - from the home of the 101st, welcome back! Glad you are safe and enjoying the 8. I'm in the middle of a restoration on one, and can't wait to get it back on the road.

I have made some repairs already to include some major changes. The previous owner swapped a 3.90 rear end in hte car prior to me me gettign it in hopes of one day racing it. It did very well racing but was miserable driving it there so I swapped out the 3.90 for a 3.45. I noticed the 8 was running hot and after playing with the fans I realized the radiator was not cutting it so I ordered a WedgeShop (Woody Cooper) special alumimin radiator which I am scheduled to receive Tuesday. Moday it is going to the local paint shop for some of the paint bubbles that have popped up. Busy Busy Busy. Oh by the way, we were replaced by the 101 boys when we rotated out.
