Feels like a totally different engine now, more torque down low but it pulls cleanly now up past 5K no problems. I don't know how much poer is she putting out now, but if I'm not careful she's deep into 70+ without much of a boot in the rear. Serious fun.

I think I need bigger/fatter tires and better brakes now.... it never ends.

The other 'problem' is that I promised myself that I'd get cracking on the cosmetics and interior once she was running well.

If I remember right, you put the 4.0 heads on your car. If 3.5 will fit on a 4.0 will4.0 fit on a 3.5???

Yes, that was the surgey. She has a recent 4.0 block from Woody but they put her old 3.5 heads on her, and I think those heads were iffy at best.

3.5 heads will fit on the 4.0 block but they drop the compression down significantly. Not sure, but compression ratio might be an issue if you put 4.0 heads on a 3.5 block. I need to defer to someone more knowledgeable about the Rover V8 for that answer.

Nuttin' like 'em, Tom! Mine's slowly getting sorted out, and MAN, is it fun! Never expect an LBC to act like these things, do ya?
