I also saw it on the Eugene Craigs List for $14.5k.
 
I have been drueling over that ebay auction. Do you have any knowledge about the car, or have you actually looked at it up close? I would have to go in debt, but it is the nicest (looking) TR8 i have seen. I have a tr7, but that would have to go.
 
I used to drive by it every day, it lived around the corner. The owner only drove it nice days. I never saw it with the top up. He is quite tall and wedges are about the only lbc he could fit in.

The sports car shop has it listed for $14.5k. A couple of years ago they sold a spider to another member up in WA State for $14k. They are very knowledgeable about lbc's. It's a family shop, they work on Jags, Rovers, Bmw's, MG's, Austins, just about anything classic and newer european cars. Pricey shop rate, but I've never heard a complaint about their work. They used to work on my Rangie. I don't think that they are open today, but they will talk to you on the phone and respond to emails.

I can go look at it for you and take photos, but Sports car bob would the same thing for you.
