Wedge TR8 Hazard Lights

I have posted this question before, but I am going to try again. I have never been able to get my Hazard Lights to work on my 8. I have replaced the switch and flasher unit(silver round thing twice) and no luck. My turn signals work fine, although one blinks faster than the other. Also, when i put the Hazard light switch to the on position, my turn signals at that point will not work. I purchased off ebay, what was referred to as a Hazard Light relay (Part #1-057613). But I am now convinced that this is not for my car at all. Any help would be appreciated. It is not the end of the world obviously that they do not work, but I feel it has to be something simple that I am missing! Thanks!

Here is a link to the part I purchased:

It soounds like you hve the smae probelm I had. I replaced the flasher unit and then I cleaned the switch and it still did not work. One evening I turned the hazards on and I was working on something else and the flashers started to work. Never have had trouble again. I assumed it just needed to warm up (LOL). You probably can thank Mr Lucas again
