Wondering if anyone has used the colortune to adjust their carbs on a TR8. I am thinking about making the purchase, but want to make sure it will work well.

Thanks!

Everyone who uses it on the six and four like it

I assume the 14mm is the correct size for the TR8?

Thanks!

So, any other tips on usign this thing. Does the car need to be warmed up and left it run for a while? Any tips on how to get the BEST results would be appreciated. I just ordered it up. Hopefully will have it Friday. Also, I thought I should mention I have the Holly 4b setup.

Thanks!

Definitely should have the engine at operating temperature when checking the mixture; no matter how you check it.

Do I have to do all 8, or just one since I have the Holley Carb. I guess what I do not understand is if I have to test all 8 plugs, and there are only 2 adjustment screws, it seems to me once you would get #1 the right color, and lets say #4 in not blue and you re-adjust again, then #1 would not be right?! Just looking for a little insight before I tackle this job on Saturday.

Thanks!

Rod

Rod The plenum (I gather) feeds all 8 plugs at once so you just really need to do one plug and for grins you can see how well the others are firing.
