Wedge TR8 Air Pump Injector Thread Size

Since it looks like I may be "under the hood" for awhile sorting out my poor running issues, the air pump is long gone from the car, but the air injector rails are still attached to the block. I know I've seen reference to the thread size and type of fitting that should be bought to plug the injector holes once you take the rail off -- anybody know off-hand what the thread size of type of fitting I should use?

Thanks!
Chris

are they the same as in a TR7 head? I used socket head set screws, if I remember a slightly odd size I got from a fastener store for about 20 cents each.

Well that says what you used, but still the question remains. What size??

I bought some 7/16 fine thread allen head bolts this morning and they are too small -- was pretty amazed.

I cross-referenced an article I had about de-smogging an MGB and taking the rails off -- in that article it called for 7/16 SAE.

I do have one of the injectors off, so off to check the real size against a thread gauge at Ace Hardware....

1/2" x 1/2" fine thread set screws.

1/2 x 1/2 fine set are the ticket.

Verified with the injector on a screw thread fitting at Ace Hardware....

Thanks!
