I am looking for how to instructions for disassembly of a TR7 steering rack. I can not seem to figure out how to get the rack and pinion gear out of the housing. This rack will be used for my TR3 rack & pinion conversion, and I want to clean it up and check it out. I guess I could by a manual on the TR7, but all I need are the pages that pertain to the steering rack. Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks..

I'm going to have to tackle this too (it's technically the reason my car became a garage queen in 1992, flunking safety inspection for "excessive play in steering".) I have several shop manuals but I'm always interested in firsthand experiences. Could you cc me on that e-mail?
