After being turned away from a couple hardware stores, I decided to order a 10-pack of key blanks. One was the same price as two, and with shipping, ten was only a couple buck more.
They are the style "MG" if you look at the Moss catalog. I'll have eight left over that I'll part with for $2.50 each. Your local hardware store will most likely cut your blank for free, like mine does, since they can't supply them.
These aren't the ones with the plastic head, like Moss sells for $15, but a simple metal key.
