I have a 1980 tr7 , carb, tr7 engine that I am redoing. I have a new fuel pump form victoria british, and I can not fugure out if I need a spacer, or two spacers. They are 1/4 inch each. Part 3-223 fuel pump from catalog. Do I need a spacer, and is in two 1/4 parts. What a mess. And I do not have the old pump to compare! PS Vistroia does not seem to be able to answer for me. Any help would be great.....thanks JOHN

My car(1980) does not have a spacer. The shop manual makes no mention of spacers. I can only assume that the spacers are used on a different application.
