Wedge TR7 Evaluation

I hauled the TR7 back to my mechanic in PA and he gave it a good going over. The car is basically in very sound condition and a good driver. it does have some needs like new tires, tune-up, and so on. It was also repainted a different color from its original blue metallic to red for no other apparent reason than the owner wanted to change the color. The shop told me that it has some minor body filler for some dents, but is overall in nice condition. After a lot of discussion, we decided to sell it for what I have into it, but we will see what happens. l like the car, but have another project on the horizon. If a buyer comes along, so be it. If not, I'll put a little in it and keep it for awhile.

Can you give a little more detail about the car. Is it a coupe or convert? What is the date of manufacture, and mostly what are the paint and interior codes? I have been looking for an 77 Astral blue metalic coupe for years. The only one I have ever seen was the early TR8 coupe I had that I would like to rebody. Looks like the one on the TR8 coupe brochure

Yeah, sorry, this one is a 1980 convertible. I think this may be breaking a rule discussing business here, but if you have any interest send me an email. I think I am supposed to post this in the "for sale" section if I want to sell it here. I am leaving the country tomorrow for two weeks, but will check in as I can.

If it needs tires and doesn't have the alloys on it I have set of both.

Yeah, I might be interested. Let me see what happens by the time I return. This could be a good car for me to learn how to do my own stuff on it, and so I am thinking about that.
