i have removed my air pump, on a tr7, and in order to reinstall the alternator, I had to reuse the air pump bracket. It sticks out and looks ugly. I could cut the arm off, but I want to save it if I ever sell the car to a state that still requires smog equiptment. What have you other tr7 owners done about this?

If you are only looking to space the alt bracket back out to where it needs to be, use a bronze sleeve cut to the right length. They are sold at the hardware store in the nuts and bolts section. Take your bolt along to make sure it slides into the sleeve. The real trick is finding the 7/16" allen sockets to plug the air injection holes in the head.

Set screw
Click on standard socket and they have it there. I hope that is what Toddmentioned as not familiar with this model.

I just ordered a 26mm bearing for my little garden windmill that burned up in a storm.
