Pretty much a spot on description of a TR8. Just remember that a 250 HP, 4 liter, that will do 150 MPH is on the lower end of the modified scale. Think 375 HP, 5 liter, with big brakes and wide tires. that will get you to 160 MPH in under 1/2 mile and now your talking about a dream car.

I still think the TR7, even with its stock engine is totally under-rated. I'll say again that I liked driving my TR7 more than the TR8 that replaced it. I suppose I'd like a TR8 without power steering the most.

By the way, that video has one of my favorite driving songs in it: Steve Vai's "The Audience is Listening" -- it's in the cd changer in my Corvette right now.

I remember FT Benning, all the LTC were buying classic cars (Saab, MG, Volvo's) it was prewtty fun to see them and then one day one my Battalion commanfer who had not been playing the gaem with the other came in with his 8. The rumble, the thunder, I was sold right there. I get out on the highway, the rumble of me little V8 under the hood. Stop lights are fun just to hear the roar as I go thru the gears... yes I am sold

Well Sammy,

After two years and almost a complete re-do, my stock 7 will finally be on the road once again in about another month or so. The only non-factory item is the UK pistons.

I'll keep you posted regarding my opinion... Oh heck, I already know what that is, this is going to be a great summer.
