TR6 TR6 Wiper Blades...

Just wondering what you guys use for wiper blades!

I just replaced both of my wiper arms... along with 11" blades which are supposed to fit. Both from Moss.

Well, the 11" blades both sweep over the molding around the windscreen... so much that the motor will stop.

I tried clipping the ends off, down to the metal support. Still scrapes.

So I am going to give up, and was about to order some 10" refills, but figured I would check to see what you folks are using for your replacement blades.

Thanks!

Lately, I have been doing the discount store route. I buy the basic refill and cut to fit. I figure I can buy many years worth of blades for the price of one precut set.

Thanks, Doug!

I ended up just going to Advanced Auto and buying a pair of 10" Tricor blades this time around. The 10" fit perfectly! (so dont believe Moss when they say to use 11" on your Six!)

I did have to pull out the Dremil tool, though, to enlarge the wiper adapter, because the Tricors only came with one, which would not go onto the arms I just bought from Moss... so I used an old one from the 11" set, which were a little to small to fit the Tricor.

So 5 minutes of Dermilling (is that a new verb?) and volla! Perfect fit wiper blades...

You probably saved a couple bucks to boot! Now you can go to you favorite watering hole and have the first one "on the house".
