General TR TR6 VS Datsun 240Z

While I was going to college in the early '60s, I had a '63 TR4. Great car, but unfortunately I wrecked it. So, just before I got out of the army, I bought a brand new '69 TR6. I knew well of the 240Z, but that rugged TR4 that I had kept me in the Triumph ranks. Well, I had to do a fair amount of engine work get it to be fast enough to take on the stock 240Zs. BTW, here's a pic of the 1971 Formula 1 race at the Glen. I was there with my father and future wife.
