TR6 TR6 valve adjustment help

I think the book says to do it cold, but the maker of my cam said to do it hot (ISKY)

I always do mine COLD... that is what is specified.
Besides, it's better on the fingers.

Hi Kevin - of you have a stock engine then cold is the way to go. Really cold, as in overnight cold. There should be some tappet noise still once you are done. I just did mine on the '74 last night and they were way too tight, quiet, but too tight.
