Took the 6 out on a short (100 miles) SCCA rally today, placing 2nd in class and 2nd overall. Only other Brit car was a '70 E type coupe, and (if you stretch things) a P1800. We were also the only top down entry. Not only that, we clearly had the best exhaust note!
 
I'm curious, what kind of event? Surely not loose surface special stages? I wouldn't imagine someone doing that with an E-type, although some TR's and of course the big Healeys have a proud rally heritage. But - what do I know? Maybe it was a tarmac event? Well done for the placing! Pete
