TR6 TR6 Turn signal not working

Driving around this morning and seems as if the turn signals just stopped working. I did manage to accidentally switch on the hazard switch. Is there any connection with that? I have a 72...was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to start figuring out what's wrong. Thanks.

There is an "interconnection" between the two, so leaving on the hazard switch will "cancel out" the normal turn signal function. If all four lamps do not flash when the hazard switch is flipped to "ON," there's a problem in that circuit (maybe the flasher unit itself?).

The turn signal circuit is wired thru the hazard circuit, i.e. the turn signals will not work if the hazard swith is in the ON position. What normally happens is even tho you have switched the hazard switch off, the small sliding connection, attached to a spring, hasn't popped back into the off position, so thus no turn signals. Once you have the hazard switch off, tap on the switch a few times and I bet your turn signals will start working again. The hazard switch is a poor design, but that's Lucas at work!!!

Thanks Andrew and Mark. I just flipped the hazard switch a few times and the TS came back on. Easiest fix all day!
