Now that my car is at least running, I am trying to take care of the finer point. My question is when I put on the turn indicator, is it supposed to click back off when I finish making my turn? If it is supposed to turn off, can this be repaired or do I just need to buy a new one?
Thanks, Kevin

i'm not very good with the technical jargon, but the mechanism in your steering column might not be centered. i'd give you more details, but i'm sure someone will be able to explain it better than me. so don't try to fix it just yet, because it probably aint broke.

Kevin,

The detent mechanism in these little jewels will wear out over time. Mine does the same thing on a right turn signal. I have a brand new one in the box in my parts bin, waiting for me to install it. One day.
