hey guys, has anyone had a problem with new top seals that go above the doors on a tr6? i got mine from moss and i have another tr6, a project car which the seal lips are a bit bigger, i ask because the ones i got from moss when installed on my car dont even touch the windows! i have tried adjusting everything and i believe its cause the seals are different. any other experiences with this? thanks guys.
Randy

I used TRF seals. They fit pretty well.

thanks paul.......oh btw, on yourhead since your gonna have new seats put in, put the early exhaust valves in.....the late head flows better through the ports but has smaller exhaust valves.

Good tip. I'll add that to the list.

Which is getting longer by the minute!

BTW, are you going to the British By The Sea in Waterford, CT on June 3rd? Harry, Kodanja, and I will all be there.

What Paul said, Moss seals didn't fit too well on one of my tops. TRF seals fit nicely, fuller and longer.

hey paul, unfortunatly i wont be around that weekend although i would love to go see the cars there and meet you guys. i also normally work on sat and sun till 5:30 so its hard to make those car events. i dont know if you ever go to cruise nights, but there is one on tuesdays at oakland beach which is pretty nice, but mostly american iron although there is a perfect morgan there usually.

Randy,

That same Morgan, if it's the burgundy/tan car, is at the British Motor Car Club of New England every Friday night.

I plan to start attending those again as soon as this house painting and minor remaining car projects are finished.

It's a good thing that didn't come out of my trap, I would never go anywhere.

I just moved back in to my house today. The painter still has to do the kitchen and wallpaper in it, but we can now live back here. My wife has to get new draperies, so my job was to hand temporary blinds today after scrubbing the entire house from dust and moving furniture all morning and afternoon.

They're finally done and so am I.

Golf tomorrow even if it's still raining. Then maybe a little TR work before moving more boxes around.
