TR6 Sapphire Blue color Match?

Country flag
Offline
Has anyone found a close match for the '72-'74 TR6 Sapphire Blue (96) in a standard rattle can? Doing some engine bay touchup, behind the battery, etc. Otherwise any recommended color matching suppliers?

Some of the local auto paint suppliers will do a color match and then put it in a rattle can. May not be cheap but problem solved.

Trying to get off the shelf aerosol paint to match a 40+ year old finish color is an exercise in futility. I let my local Sherwin-Williams scan the finish of my 1960 M-B (Glasurit DB350 Medium Blue), and got a perfect touch up, 12 oz spray can - for $15.

You are probably right, just thought I would ask. And $15 isn't too bad, better than $35 for a match to the original color which may not match the aged 48 year old paint.
