TR6 TR6 Reverse lamp wiring

Now that I've got the trans cover off, I've found the reverse lamp switch or whatever it's called on the trans. Turns out that the wires weren't even connected and they're frayed (I'll buy it new). That's why I have a manual swtich someone put in the car that I have to flip when I go into reverse (yeah, that's fun to remember all the time!). My question is where do the wires hook up to? Is it under the dash?

Hello Mike,
is there not the remains of the loom there? It may be that someone has re-routed that bit of the loom to your manual switch. If so just put it back to where it was otherwise you will need to re-wire it.
The basic circuit is a green coloured feed from a fuse then a green\brown supply to the reversing lamps.

Mike, Alex is right on, but just a quick note. The wires run down the front side of the fire wall and back to the transmission switch, PO properly pulled them into the dash by the tach cable hole. Wayne
