TR6 TR6 rear sway bar question

Hi guys

Two questions;

1) Does this look like a TR6 rear sway bar. I'm pretty sure it is but it was in a parts buy and I wanted to get another pair of eyes on it.

2) Are the rear-bars the same for all the years. This was included in a bunch of 1971 parts but I'm thinking of using it for my 1974.

It is approximately 41.5 inches wide at the widest point. The sticker says "AV".

Thanks!

Whoa, blast from the past.

I guess I'm going to have to jack all the cars up and see if it fits any of them - LOL. (it came with a car so who knows if it is even a TR part).

Thanks Larry!

Without flexible end links, and without pivot points that match the suspension, that bar is going to also affect spring rate. I doubt that it is an aftermarket bar at all, let alone from a TR6. But such bars are common on OEM applications, frequently as part of a 'sport' option that increases spring rate as well as roll rate.

Yeah, I had one on my Saab that was pretty similar to that actually. It bolted right up and made a huge difference to how the car handled...
