I'm thinking about selling the '74-1/2 TR6,but am trying to think
it out before I do.
It needs some work, but is mostly rust free,& we've had it for almost
20 years.I know that these will be going up in value soon.I want to get
a decent price, but don't want to overprice it.
Your thoughts?

Hi Doug,

You`ll want to post some pics. All 4 sides, Interior, Engine Bay, Inside Boot & Under-carriage if possible. Of course; Overall running cond. before any $$$ figures could possibly be suggested.

Can't say much without actually seeing the car - inside, outside, closeups, engine, undercarriage, rust spots, under the carpets, etc.

What does an ebay scan tell you about similar cars' selling prices?

I'd do what Tom suggest...try to find some comparables ...comparables in California even better.

Hemmings Sports & Exotics magazine feature car in the July issue, that just came today, is the TR6. For price range, they are saying $7500 to $32,000.

I'm starting at $7,500,& willing to take a Miata as a part trade.

Look on the Humboldt (Eureka) craigslist.
It's not as good as the pictures make it to be,
but still a decent car.

Doug - unless there are some "hidden surprises", I think $7500 is a fair price for that car.
