TR6 TR6 plastic glove box installation

Before I do something stupid and waste time, can anyone who has installed a plastic glove box please give me any tips that they have learned? If there anything that I should be especially careful about? Is it tricky to figure out exactly where the screw holes should be? How do you mount the check link (the door support thing to keep it from opening too far)? Do I ask enough questions?
Thanks

The only problem I ran into was where to drill and install the light for inside. Would have been nice if they would have at least left an indention to show location. the rest is pretty easy. Here is a thought, add another light to the left side so you really can see inside in the dark.

Andy,
Two things.

First, to get her in the alloted area, pretty much you need a running start and jamb her in. (Halfway kidding.) That sucker needs to be popped into place. (An aside, because the cubby box is so ornery to get in, before she is installed, this is a good time to check out things like inner heater hoses and heater for maintenance or replacement.)

The second thing is instead of screws, I opted for small aluminum pop rivets to hold it in. Easily drilled out if need be and so much easier, and sturdier, to install.
