Hello to everybody its been a long time since I've visited this forum. I currently have a 67 Spitfire with a LeMans bonnet from Jigsaw Racing. I also have a large number of parts from PRI (Keihin carbs, extreme side exhaust, etc.) I'm currently working on my 65 Corvair Monza so I don't have the time or $$ to get back to working on the Spit.

I also have some TR6 parts that I am curious about their value. I sold my TR6 about 3 years ago so I kind of been out of the TR6 loop. I have a front and rear bumper, front spoiler, rollbar (no attaching hardware), rear luggage rack and maybe a few other parts I can't remember. Any ideas to the value? The parts are ok condition but all could use some cleaning I'm sure (haven't looked in about 3 years but they are in covered storage). Yesterday believe it or not I went through all 170+ pages of this forum! I found some info on the rollbar but not bumpers. Again any info is appreciated!

[/ QUOTE ]Wow! I gotta ask: is it the fibreglas one or the alloy one? Especially if the latter, might I ask what it cost? Regardless, what did shipping cost you from the UK? And are they as nice as they look on Jigsaw's web site?
 
Hi Andy..no I have the fiberglass model.. Actually I purhcased it from PRI who had purchased about 12 bonnets from Jigsaw Racing back in about 2000/2001. I think I paid about $850 + $150 shipping. The aluminum bonnet was quoted to me at about $7,500US. The fiberglass bonnet as far as quality goes rates about a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. There are some fitment issues with it but once you get past them its not a bad looking piece. It is very lite and it does dramatically change the appearance of your Spitfire IMO. It gives the front of the car so much attitude because of the wheel flares that it makes the rear of the car look weak in comparison. Since I bought the bonnet from PRI,I have no idea what it would cost to have one freighted from overseas.
