TR6 TR6 main bearing torque

Per the Haynes manual 55 - 60 ft lbs.
Per the official TR6 Repair Operation Manual issued by Service Division - Triumph Motors - British Leyland UK Ltd. it's 65 ft lbs. I believe when I did mine I went with the Haynes because that is what I had at the time. Anybody care to weigh in on this one?

65 lbs. for mine, as recommended by the factory service manual.

They haven't fallen out yet. :eeek:

Billy, I sent you the manual. It's all in there

Be sure to lubricate the threads, if they are dry it will not give you the proper torque.
