Simple question,

When you take a HS6 that comes from a Volvo and you fit it on a TR6....What Jet # should be used? What needles # should be tried first and which float bowls # are the best? Finally, which adapter # should be used?

This is what I am trying to figure out but had all kind of responses in the last 2 weeks.

Thanks

They will not mount straight on. Need a different mount. I am correct on this?

You have to invert them because on the Volvo the float bowls were in the middle. Doing this, you have to redo the throttle shaft arrangment. also, on the Volvo, carbs were at an angle, so you have to tilt the float bowls. This changes the fuel height (pressure) and I was tols that the bowls neeed to be changed to AUD2140 to avoid being too rich. This is what I know so far. I am confused about jet and needles?

I have heard reports it is a straight swap needle wise. Your results may vary and you might need a O2 sensor to find out.
Bought mine from UK many years ago for 150 for the pair brand new
