TR6 tr6 horn wiring

Ready to install the 2 horns that came in a box when I purchased the car. Do the purple/yellow wires as well as the black(grnd) wires get connected to the different spades on the horns themselves? 74-tr6. Also, I replaced the steering wheel with a wood/leather one, adapter so on and so forth. This new wheel has (2) spades on the horn push part...one has a black wire attached which is just stripped and the adapter has a black wire with a push on spade connector. Any ideas?

You got the right idea for the horn wires.

One wire from the wheel joins to the wire that goes down the loom to the horn-relay
The other got to be grounded via the spring contact and the brass disc.

If this is not enough info you will need to post some pics.
