TR6 TR6 harmonic balancers

Does anyone know how to judge the performance of a fourty year old stock harmonic balancer? I,m mostly interested in performance benefits and I do consider smooth running a performance characteristic. Balancing of the rotating assembly was performed by a skilled and trusted machine shop. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks for the reply Obi Wan! I visited the Dale Manufacturing web site you provided and they seem to make doing business easy and convenient.
I look forward to your update in a "few weeks" even though I'm tempted to go ahead as you advised.
I still hope others can comment on this topic as I think there is a lot to learn on this topic.
Thanks a Million!

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I have used Dale and can vouch his work. The few weeks I was talking about had to do with the months they are closed, March being one of them.

Well, it's a good thing we type the same language, I understand now! I better get a Priority Mail box today.
Thanks again
