TR6 TR6 - half top/bikini top?

I was thinking there must be someplace that would make a 1/2 top or "bikini" style top for TR's. They can be seen on Jeep CJs frequently. I know we can remove the rear window and unsnap the sides - I was thinking there could be something more open - yet with some covering overhead.

Anyone know if there is something manufactured like that?

Doubtful there is anything ready-made but I have thought about doing this (I guess all roadster drivers in the Southwest have considered this). I do use an old top on the TR4 with the rear window cut out for long sunny interstate drives.

I have seen a TR3A with a bikini top made from a sort of shade cloth (close weave but not opaque). It's a pretty easy arrangment on a 3 because the leading edge is held with just a row of snaps -- no unique hardware -- but a crafty guy could probably configure something for other TRs.
