TR6 TR6 front bearing cap

i have looked locally and have had no luck finding a replacement cap for my front pax side bearing cap. yesterday it came off and got wedged inside the plastic hub cap and cracked it :frown: but not completely. at least i did loose the end of the hubcap with the TR6 logo, the end of the hubcap, or the bearing cap . i found that the dust cap was slightly out of round which has been corrected and reinstalled, but now it spins freely in the hub (is this ok?)which the other side does not do. does anyone have a part number of one that will work. not even the local trailer builder has something that is small enough to fit.
TIA

i had thought of that but since i live in the sticks shipping would pretty much triple the price and i thought that i might be able to source one locally and also have it as soon as i found one.

Since when does it mater if you live in the sticks ?
Your only a stones throw to TRF

Speaking from experience, get used to ordering parts from the usual suspects (TRF, Moss, VB, BPNW, MMC) and save yourself some aggravation in terms of time and gas (i.e., money) trying to find parts locally. You'll get a part that fits better and support a vendor dedicated to your car.

Each of the vendors also have a shipping estimator. I'm in Maryland. If I order before 1-2 pm, I have the parts in hand the next day from TRF (Pa) and Moss (Va).

Also, keep a running list of parts and buy enough to fit in the price brackets to get the most for your shipping money (ex., buy $9.99 worth of parts to stay under the $1-$10 shipping rate). You probably need air filters, dipstick felts, etc., so the shipping does not hurt as much if you stock up. This process often works for me so I have cut down on my paying for shipping for one part.

Good luck!!
