hi all,
hope everyone is having a great summer!

just wondering/hoping someone might be able to steer me towards a resource that will have the dimensions/specs of a 74 tr6 chassis. this might be pie in the sky but i thought that it was worth asking.

thanks in advance

Hi... my copy of the "The Complete Official Triumph TR6 & TR250 1967-1976" (from Bentley Publishers) has all the frame dimensions on page 429...

I just measured my son's in preparation for the powdercoating oven. The overall length is 11'-1" and the overall width is 48".

WillyB,
if your sons frame is easily accessible, would you mind doing a little measuring for me? at the rear where the crossmember (for the suspension/springs) is supported by two large vertical C-sectioned members there are two small machined holes (at least on mine, hopefully you have them too). can you measure the distance between them (the holes), and also, the distance between the center line bisecting these holes and the differential mounts (forward) on either side?
my frame is a 74, not sure what your is. if i am not being clear, please pm me and i'll try to explain it a bit better.
thanks very much!
charlie
