I'm running the TRF yellow fan on my '3... I didn't have to move my radiator any, but I did replace my engine and trans mounts; still, the fan is close to the crossbrace, YMMV. I also had my radiator boiled out, and the hole filled.
If the outside temp is 100Âş+, or 60Âş, like last Saturday, my temp gauge measures a tick over the 185Âş mark, and measured digitally as 177Âş. I'd recommend the fan, but then I've never driven my car w/ the original 4-blader...
