TR6 TR6 Electronic Ignition

The other day cleaning out the garage I found a electronic ignition for what I think is a TR6. I had my TR6 15 years ago. It says "Breakerless Electronic Ignition" and the company is "Universal Corp". I have instructions for it but they are not car specific. But I've also had two MGBs. So my problems is how to tell what its for?
Any info would be great.

Quentin, it should work on either but you have to have the right rotor to go the the distributor for 4 or 6 cylinder motors. Sounds like something from NAPA. Just a guess. Wayne
