Hi guys. It's been about 15 years since I last replaced it and I notice the rear pinion seal is leaking, so I've ordered the parts, and this weekend is the date. I can't recall exactly how I did it last time, although I am sure I can figure it out. Meanwhile, any wise tips on removal my feeble brain might otherwise miss? Thanks.

Make sure that you get a new plastic threaded lock nut and washer to go with it. I found that the Moss seal for the pinion was beefier than the TRF seal, but their axle seals were better.

This is probably more than you need to see for the way you will be doing it if you're just doing the pinion seal, but here are some more pics: https://www.74tr6.com/differential.htm

Thanks - good advice on the Moss seal.
