TR6 TR6 Diff. Mount Pins

Hi all,

So, time to fix the ol' rear differential mount by fitting the Moss reinforcing kit.

A question before it starts - on the front mountings, what are the central pins (the ones that the diff and bushings are bolted on to) welded to? I have pictures showing them welded to the J-shaped cross-plate; are they also welded at the top where they protrude through the hole in the bridge section? My right-hand one seems loose there as well, so I can't tell immediately.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark-

I believe the answer is yes, though its been 10 years since I last had a TR6. Actually there is a pretty good frame picture from a previous thread here which shows the bolts and the welds:

Randy,

Thanks for the link to the photo. Those pins certainly look welded at the top.

Cheers,
Mark
