TR6 TR6 Carb spacers/Insulators

I was recently informed that my carburetor installation was not totally stock. One of the issue's pointed out was that the spacer or insulator blocks were not as thick as they should be for an engine made in November of 1974.
Can anyone tell me or measure how thick these spacers are on their similar era car?

Thanks

Norton47, the spacer on my early 74 is 1/4 inch. The spacer on a set of 75's that I have is also 1/4 inch.
How thick are your's ?

I think that my original 74 spacers were 1/4" also.

I wouldn't be to worried about this. As long as they are made out of an insulating material, it isn't going to make much of a difference. Most of the heat is radiated from the exhaust manifold in any case.

You can buy those spacers from any of the Big 3 vendors. They are made out of nylon. If you want a little zing in your life, you can boil them in Rit powdered clothes dye, any color you want. Ask me how I know this.....
