TR6 TR6 Calendar for 2005 ??

Every year around the Holiday's I pick up a new calendar for the up coming year. Normally it's a calendar with pic's of golf courses. This year I was thinking about getting one with TR6's on it. Any idea where I might find one?

Where's Webb at lately? With all the pic's he takes, maybe he's already put a calendar together?

Oh, I'm here. I don't have a calendar though, haha. That's a really interesting idea though. I wish I had a 6 calendar, whether I took the pictures or not.

Webb, I just had a good look at your photography,
FANTASTIC pics!
I'm sure you'll say something along the lines; /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif 'Nah, they're just snaps, anyone can do the same or better.'
You'd be wrong, my friend, you really SHOULD put out a calender. Sorry, make that several marque specific ones,
I'll have a Midget calender, thank you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Webb,

I'm not sure how many people view this board, but I bet a lot of them would buy a calendar for $15 or so. Could be quite a profitable hobby.
Perhaps calendars could also be sold thru the "Big 3"

Heck, Webb, there's the financing for your rebuild right there! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I'll let you know which one I want. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

By "Big 3" I'm refferring to Moss, Victoria British, and The Roadster Factory.

The hard part would be getting the printing done at a reasonable price.

You may have enough pictures already.

I've got about 10 calendar worthy prints of my car, but I don't suppose that anyone would want a calendar with just one car on it. I bet if I really got serious about making one, I could get some cars at the shop for a photoshoot, as well as some at another shop downtown. **Begins stroking chin**

Heck, one of our/your local shows would yield plenty of shots. There were plenty at that Hunt Country Classic in Virgina.

I do a lot of work at the local Kinko's, so I checked with them. They want about $20 apiece to do a calendar with a different picture for each month!

Not too bad for a "one off" thing, using pictures of your own vehicle or something, but way off base for larger numbers...

$20? I'd probably charge a lot less than that. I've found a source that can make an 8x10 calendar on glossy paper for $1.95!! Once I get 12 decent pictures in landscape (wide) format, I'll have one made to see about the quality.

If I did end up making one, it wouldn't be all of my car, definitly not. I'd probably see if I could borrow a 6 or two from work for a shoot, and then go downtown to Gassman's and see if he could lend me one or two.

Thanks. I appreciate that a lot. It really isn't hard to take a good picture though, really. All it takes is a little bit of research and a camera. If you're interested, check out "How to Photograph Cars" by James Mann. If it weren't for real naturals like him, none of my pictures would be even remotely good (and compared to the real photographers, they aren't now).
