TR6 TR6 Brake line, hazard warning light not working.

Well, I rebuilt my entire dash. I guess I am lucky in that almost everything is working now-even a couple of things I didn't think I had fixed. The last two electrical problems I have are that the indicator light for the brake line and hazard warning light are not working. The hazard flasher works, and yet the indicator light itself does not work. My brake lights themselves work too. Both of these did work before I took it apart, and I checked to make sure the light bulb was good. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Kevin

Kevin - I had the same thing happen to me on my TR3A, to a lesser extent. The indicator bulbs weren't getting a good ground. Had to do some filing and sand-papering to assure the bulb mount (socket) was solid against steel (and not against paint).

Maybe the brake hazard light wasn't working properly before and you fixed it.

Tom, both of those lights plug into the gauge and shouldn't be near wood. If the other lights work on that gauge than I would track back from there. Kevin,do you still have the stock 4 prong hazard?
