TR6 and Bugeye on Rt 128

Had to go to Boston on Thursday. Weather was perfect in Mass. Spotted a nice TR6 on Rt 128 right after the 95 merge. I was jealous. Then a couple miles up the road I came up on flatbed carrying a Bugeye. I recognized the car instantly. It had been on the Maine CL for months. Pretty heavily butchered up with an English Ford engine and some GM suspension parts grafted on if memory serves. On the way back I saw a really nice MGB in Haverhill, MA and then an early Saab in Portsmouth, NH. In between my travels I got to examine a couple of rare 18th century Italian violas. All in all Thursday was a good day for spotting stuff I like.

Sounds like a nice day (violas included). Hope someone gives that Bugeye some much needed love.
